If you dont want roots or damage your pavement, garden pond or sewerage system, you should use Rootseal. It is a root hamper & it does not control all kinds of roots, but reduces the extent of their growth considerably. In case of very aggresive kinds of roots such as bamboo, use two layes of Rootseal.
